Party Ring Rice Krispies..
These little crispy treats scream party food, girl tea parties, Alice in wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and that's why I love them, you can adapt the recipe to your own desired look! I'm sure any little girl would love making these and they're so easy to do!
I used a mix of white and pink mini marshmallows but for a more neutral look use just white marshmallows, although I quite like the look of these! You could also use mini jammy dodgers instead of mini party rings and use more food colouring to make red chocolate or maybe use milk or dark chocolate and decorate with Lotus Biscoff biscuits, the ideas are endless!
Recipe:
200g Marshmallows
200g Rice Krispies
50g Butter, I use Aldi Pantry Cooking Marg
350g White Chocolate
Red Food Colouring
Mini Party Rings
Mini Marshmallows
Method:
Line a 9inch square tin with cling film
Melt 200g Marshmallows and 50g Butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of boiling water until it is completely melted
Place 200g Rice Krispies in a mixing bowl and pour over the melted marshmallows and mix until everything is combined
Place mixture in lined tin and press into corners with a spatula, the mixture is very sticky!🤣 But it will all disperse evenly eventually
Melt 300g of White Chocolate in a heatproof bowl or jug in the microwave for about 1min 20sec checking on it every 10seconds to avoid burning
When completely melted pour over rice krispies and smooth out with a spatula
Then melt the remaining 50g of white chocolate using the same method for about 40seconds then when melted add 2drops of the food colouring and mix until pink
Drizzle over white chocolate then add party rings and marshmallows if you like
Leave to set in fridge for 1-2 hours, then cut into 12 pieces
Happy Baking!!
